The Hive is a bespoke provision within the secondary phase of Tudor Grange Samworth Academy for children with special educational needs that include social anxiety and/or autism. The provision is for those pupils who struggle to access a mainstream educational setting but have the ability to do so. As part of being in The Hive, pupils have a hybrid learning experience that is made up of bespoke small group lessons, mainstream classes and a suite of personalised interventions to support their individual needs. Whilst there are opportunities for pupils to integrate with mainstream teaching and learning, this is not an expectation, and each pupil will be provided with the level of support that they need to be successful.
