Year 10 pupils took part in “Magistrates in the Community”, where magistrates visit schools, colleges and community groups to discuss how our justice system works, including how verdicts and sentences are decided. This is our second year taking part, and pupils this year had a trial on domestic abuse. Our pupils were an amazing credit to the school and took on their roles with great maturity. It was an example of our values in practice with pupils demonstrating respect for the topic and their peers.
