This year’s World Book Day in secondary was inspired by Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson books. In the morning, pupils were welcomed to Camp Half-Blood by characters from Greek mythology. In their English lessons pupils created their own mythological identity and learned how to craft classical allusions for their creative writing.
