Year 6 were visited by the local museum service this term to learn all about World War 2. The children were given lots of information about evacuees and the blitz. As part of this, children were invited to dress up in evacuee clothing, wear authentic gas masks and take part in lots of activities to develop their understanding. This term we have been learning all about World War 2 and this opportunity gave all our students plenty of excitement and enrichment to take into their studies.
