On 20^th May, a group of year 7 students visited Bletchley Park to learn about code breaking in the Second World War. Students were able to learn and explore the mathematics behind the original Enigma machines and how mathematical thinking was key in deciphering messages sent during the War. Students were able to see how maths is still used today to protect data online through encryption and problem solving. It was a fun and inspiring day, and we were very proud to see our students being so enthusiastic and demonstrating their teamwork skills throughout the day!
