This term the English Department took 30 Year 9 students to Stratford-upon-Avon to work with one of the actors from the Royal Shakespeare Company. We looked at how we would set the play, and then worked on characterisation as well as learning about how the actors would start to get a feel for a new character. Overall we had a great time with some wonderful ideas from the students – they all worked hard and the day flew by.
