Two of our wonderful student leaders in the senior school met up with the primary school council to discuss plans for the primary buddy bench. 

The plans were drawn up by all pupils and the primary school councillors did an amazing job at articulating their ideas. 

Plans will be put into place in the next few weeks for a bench to be painted in primary and the school councillors trained up in how to ensure the bench is effective. Our secondary student leaders met with the primary school council on World Book Day and they had a conversation on the importance of reading, with one of our student leaders reading a small excerpt to primary.
