To celebrate World Book Day Year 3 and 4 looked at the book The Wizard of Oz. The children’s faces were a picture when they saw the classroom doors in the morning. Each class visited each land and found out about a different part of the story from Munchkin Land to the Emerald City and everything in between. They wrote spells, made comics, scarecrows and created hot air balloons. It was a day full of things from Oz.
