The Student Leadership Team continues to be a strong mechanism through which our students can influence and shape their school experience. During Anti-Bullying Week, our student leaders wore respect bracelets as a symbol of promoting respect for all. They worked diligently to create an anti-bullying charter, which was shared with each tutor group to sign and display. Our leaders visited tutor groups to speak about respect and the importance of speaking out against bullying. Their visibility around the school and their efforts to engage with pupils have reinforced our commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for everyone. As KK, our Head Girl, aptly put it, “We want to ensure all pupils know they can speak against bullying and that our school continues to be a safe space for all.”

As we prepare for Christmas, our student leaders have chosen Leicester Children’s Hospital as this year’s giving charity. Each tutor group will collect gifts for specific age ranges, which will be donated to the hospital. We are incredibly proud of our student leaders for their proactive response in upholding our school values and living life to the full. They have also decorated the Christmas tree, and will participate in our church service as well as leaving gifts at a local retirement home to brighten Christmas for some elderly residents.
