Year 3 took part in a Gamelan music workshop. They had the opportunity to play different musical instruments that were handmade in our forest. They learnt different notes and played a song altogether. They all had a great time creating music and can’t wait to be able to do it again. 

The children loved making a Potato Salad today in class, they especially enjoyed trying the herb ‘Dill’. The skills they demonstrated were weigh, measure, chop and stir. Keep up the good work chefs!

Year 3 enjoyed making a Caesar Salad, they especially enjoyed making the croutons and they were very surprised with the end result, one of the pupils said ‘bread and oil turns into yummy crisps’. They showed some excellent mixing, chopping and seasoning skills during this lesson.
