In year 3 we have been testing which surfaces cause the most amount of friction. We used newton meters and weights to test the different surfaces. After analysis if our results we converted them into a bar chart. We worked out that bumpier surfaces cause more friction. 

Year 3 were lucky enough to be visited by Emily from 3M. She came in to teach the children about how inhalers are made and why they’re needed. The children were able to carry out a chromatography experiment. From this they could see that the colours separated in the water, which is the same as how the drugs separate within an inhaler.
