The Performing Arts team at Tudor Grange Samworth Academy are committed to providing practical opportunities to study some of the great works of playwrights from the Elizabethan era to modern day. In Drama we aim to inspire our actors to excellence; through knowledge of drama theories, practitioners and their techniques, and through devising and performance. Pupils will be given opportunities to work creatively as a team and gain understanding of the roles within a theatre and the processes that underpin theatre as a whole. The department aims to inspire a love of performing arts that will last a lifetime.
